Brief Profile
Dr. Sheetal Sharma is a keen researcher and hard core academician. Her core area of interest are-Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour & Cross cultural management.
She has contributed quality research papers to various reputed journals and designed study materials for country’s reputed universities. Her jointly authored book titled “Personal Growth and Training & Development” by Excel Book Publishers has been released and received commendation by Former President of India, Prof A P J Abdul Kalam and has also been received Book Award Year 2009-10 by ISTD (Indian Society for Training & Development). She is on the review panel of a prestigious international journals and PhD Guide & Evaluator for leading universities of India; coached & mentored students and corporate on across different domains of business management.
She has also participated and presented her research work in various seminars and conferences of national and international levels and gained international exposure while being associated with a University in Russia for teaching assignment.
She has conducted several workshops and corporate training on various issues such as Training and Development, Women empowerment, Interview handling, performance management, team building, and management decision making etc.
Besides teaching, she also has strong inclination towards community development and support two NGO’s working for rural women education and empowerment and educating underprivileged children.

Teaching-Learning Initiatives
I strongly believe in Outcome based learning and use Case study discussions management games, roleplays, storytelling, learning through videos, movies, TED talks, classroom activities for effective teaching-learning. Also use psychometric testing to help students understand their Self/Individual Dynamics .Encourage students to do Internet based assignments, for which library databases such as EBSCO, NDL and DELNET are being regularly used.
A few case studies used for classroom teaching are Mumbai Dabbawala’s, The Ordinary Heroes of the Taj(Harvard Business Review), Managing the corporate culture of DMRC: the Sreedharan Approach .Movies used are An introduction of the movie ‘A Beautiful Mind’-A true story of Nobel Laureate and the Movie “Twelve Angry Men”
